We use only milk from our own herds — no shortcuts, no exceptions. It's been the Ammerland way since 1885, and you can taste it in every slice.

Thanks to the traditional cheesemaking and ripening process, our cheese is naturally lactose-free, as the lactose is broken down during production.

In germany, the use of rBST is prohibited by law. As a result, all Ammerländer dairy products are made exclusively from milk produced without the usa of rBST.
